Founder of 4wdTV Australia. Since launching Australia's first 4WD and outdoor adventure television programme in 2004, Simon has worked across 4WD media, track training, vehicle testing and international off-road event organisation.

Course Director | Yunliang Offroad Founder
Zhu Yunliang is general manager of Beijing Yunliang Offroad Technology, founder of Yunliang Offroad, and a key figure in moving China's off-road modification industry from experience-led builds toward more systematic vehicle solutions. Since entering the automotive industry in 1998 and founding Yunliang in 2002, he has worked across off-road modification, race support, desert challenges, OEM co-creation and owner service systems. Within 4wdID, he represents more than technical modification: his field experience contributes knowledge for desert travel, overlanding, vehicle preparation, equipment choice and integrated specialty courses.
Course Director
Han Xuefeng graduated from the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC and specialised at Beijing Police College in police vehicle stunt techniques, driving and safety. He has deep experience in motorcycle and automotive stunt driving, snow and ice driving and race instruction. In 2023 and 2025, he won the China Police Auto Rally Championship and became known as China's Police Car King. Within 4wdID, he turns vehicle-control experience on ice, wet surfaces and high-risk terrain into repeatable safety-driving courses.
Course Director
Xu Ying, born in 1980 in Linyi, Shandong, is a Chinese off-road rally and short-course racer. Since entering the National Short-Course Off-road Championship in 2004, he has competed for many years in Chinese off-road rally, national short-course events, the Taklimakan Rally and other major competitions, driving for teams including Great Wall Motors, Zotye, Giti Tyre and JMC off-road programmes. In 2005, he represented Great Wall Motors in the China Off-road Rally A-B class and won the manufacturer cup; in 2017, he won the annual petrol-class title in the China Short-Course Off-road Championship. Within 4wdID, Xu Ying turns race experience in line choice, rhythm control, vehicle feedback and mental discipline into practical driving methods.

Founder of Crossing Club and a senior guide in American rock crawling culture. Wang Rui connects Rubicon and Moab high-difficulty trail experience with overlanding and remote-route work, turning it into clearer track judgement, vehicle control and team coordination methods.
Australian Course Director
Trent Leen is one of Australia's most experienced and successful off-road competitors, with more than three decades of racing experience, 40 years of 4WDing and countless recreational trips across Australia. He has competed at the front of Outback Challenge, Malaysian Rainforest Challenge, ARB/TJM/Ateco Warn/Engel winch challenges and other demanding 4WD competitions, with multiple series wins, round wins and podiums. Within 4wdID, Trent contributes an Australian competition and overlanding perspective, translating line choice, winch recovery, vehicle limits, team coordination and risk control in complex terrain into practical course knowledge.
