4wdID training records, course completion proofs and authorisation records are internal 4wdID platform records under 4wdID course standards and platform rules. They are not a government licence, national vocational qualification, statutory driver-training completion document, administrative permit or credential from a third-party regulator, and they do not grant road-driving, employment, professional, competition or insurance eligibility.

Why 4wdID is building an instructor system
China's off-road community does not lack passion; it needs a shared safety language, training standards and course quality. Off-road driving cannot rely only on personal experience passed by word of mouth. Mature 4WD education needs people who turn experience into standards, judgement into method and safety into habit.
4wdID hopes to do its part to make off-road driving in China safer. The people who truly bring this system to life are the instructors. An instructor is not someone who simply takes people out for a drive; they teach the right principles, the right actions and the right limits.

Why students can trust 4wdID instructors
A 4wdID instructor identity is not granted just by signing up. Behind it is a quality framework covering learning, review and continued participation.The first requirement for becoming an instructor is completing the 4wdID standard course as a student and understanding the shared language and training baseline.
Candidates must pass document review, online interview, trial teaching or shadow evaluation before headquarters review.
Teaching, internal record and safety processes must operate within 4wdID standards, Authorised Training Provider procedures and approved Training Base requirements.
Instructors must keep participating in standard-course delivery and confirm understanding of textbooks and updates through annual renewal.
Protect the Standard
Standards are not there to restrict instructors; they protect students, Training Providers, Training Bases and the system.
4wdID instructors must work through 4wdID standards, Authorised Training Providers and approved Training Bases. This is not about adding barriers; it ensures every course has clear limits, stable delivery and traceable results.
- Do not bypass Authorised Training Providers or approved Training Bases to teach privately; keep site, equipment, insurance and operations under control.
- Do not privately issue completion proofs outside headquarters; every completion proof must be traceable through the 4wdID platform record.
- Every course must put safety first and be accountable to students, the industry and the system.
Application Path
How to become a 4wdID Authorised Instructor
The first step is completing the 4wdID standard course. Only after learning the shared standard can someone apply to deliver it.Complete the 4wdID standard course
This is the prerequisite for instructor application and the first step toward understanding the safety language, course structure and teaching limits.
Submit application materials
Provide basic information, city, identity, off-road experience, first-aid internal record status and application notes.
Pass document review
Headquarters makes an initial judgement based on standard-course records, personal experience and application motivation.
Attend an online interview
Confirm the candidate's understanding of safety, teaching, Training Base collaboration and course limits.
Complete trial teaching / shadow evaluation
Observe teaching expression, risk judgement, team communication and debrief ability in real course settings.
Pass headquarters review
After headquarters review, instructors work on standard courses within 4wdID and authorised provider procedures.
Application Requirements
What a 4wdID instructor applicant needs
- Recognise the 4wdID system and be willing to focus on safety, standards and long-term skill building.
- Have mature off-road experience and be willing to turn personal experience into teachable methods.
- Accept headquarters review, curriculum standards and ongoing updates.
- First-aid internal record is preferred.
- If the instructor does not hold first-aid internal record, a certified first-aider or first-aid assistant must be present in the class.

Annual Requirements and Renewal
Continued participation gives the identity real value.
First year freeLet the right people enter the system first and focus on learning, trial teaching and real course delivery.
RMB 6,000 / yearFrom the second year, annual fees support authorisation maintenance, textbook updates, headquarters review and system operations.
At least 2 times per year4wdID Authorised Instructors must participate in at least two standard-course classes each year so the identity stays grounded in real training.
Annual confirmationComplete an online interview and confirm understanding of new textbook and updated content.
