4wdID off-road training course and authorisation pathway

International Training & Training Record System

4wdID System

An off-road safety training record system growing internationally 4wdID is not only a three-day standard course, a textbook or a course completion proof. It is an education and training-record system built around off-road safety, driver training, authorised instructors, authorised training providers, enterprise training and international course standards. Starting with Australia and China, 4wdID is expanding toward markets such as the United States.

System Components

4wdID is not a single course. It is a complete system.

The course is only the entry point. 4wdID works through course standards, student records, instructor applications, provider delivery, enterprise training and brand partnerships.
01

Standard Courses

The entry point for every learning path, building a shared safety language, vehicle understanding and action limits.

02

Specialty Courses

Progression into Desert, Snow, Gobi, Overlanding, Forest & Mud, Rock Crawling, vehicle setup and documentary field-production specialty courses.

03

4wdID Completed-course student

After completing training and assessment, students enter the 4wdID student system with a traceable learning record.

04

4wdID Authorised Instructor

Teach after course study, review, trial teaching, shadow evaluation and headquarters review.

05

Authorised Training Providers & Bases

Run courses locally with student service, site support, vehicle support and stable operations.

06

Enterprise and Brand Training

Customised off-road safety training for automotive brands, dealers, fleets and enterprise users.

Individual Students

For individual students, 4wdID is a clear learning path.

4wdID serves everyday 4WD owners, beginners, club members, modification-shop customers and people who may become instructors. The three-day standard course is not there to make someone an expert in three days; it builds the right safety boundaries and the basic skills to keep learning.

Students learn off-road history, vehicle systems, risk judgement, low-speed control, basic recovery, track judgement and debrief methods. After the standard course, they can keep progressing through specialty courses across terrain, trip types and industry use cases.

Enterprises and Organisations

For enterprises, 4wdID is a customised 4WD safety training solution.

4wdID is not only for individual students. Based on the standard curriculum, it can also develop customised training for enterprise and institutional clients.

International System

Starting with China and Australia, growing into a global 4WD education network

4wdID is built for China and is also being developed in mature off-road regions such as Australia and the United States. Over time, 4wdID will keep exploring course standards and training-record logic across countries, scenarios and terrain types.

China has fast-growing off-road demand, while Australia and the United States have mature off-road culture and terrain experience. 4wdID aims to combine local needs, mature overseas experience and its own course capability into a more internationally informed safety-training standard.

Only when standards, provider operations, instructor teaching, Training Base readiness and student growth work together does 4wdID become a repeatable education system rather than a one-off activity.
